Message	to adhere to. If you're blasting aluminum, glass beads or aluminum oxide works well for prep. If you're blasting steel or cast iron, something more aggressive would work best. Last time I filled up, I got a 50lb drum of ground garnet from tractor supply, and I was pretty happy with it. Not too aggressive, lasted fairly well, and was pretty cheap.
